Summary. Buying gives you a personal license to play Saint Seiya Densetsu on one computer at a time, including the updates we release. You can move it to another computer on the website and ask for a refund within 7 days. Every cent raised is invested in the game itself.
1. Acceptance
By buying, activating or using Saint Seiya Densetsu you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not buy or use the game.
2. About the game
Saint Seiya Densetsu is a fan-made game maintained by the Saint Seiya Densetsu team ("we"). Saint Seiya is a work by Masami Kurumada; the game has no official connection with the rights holders, and the trademarks and characters belong to them.
3. Where the money goes
Every cent raised is reinvested in developing the game: new sprites, maps and systems, the next sagas, versions for other platforms and the costs of keeping the game online. No part of it goes to the personal profit of team members.
4. The license
- Buying grants a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to play the computer (Windows) version, for non-commercial use.
- Each license works on one computer at a time. To switch computers, release the previous one on the "My license" page, up to 3 times every 30 days. Contact us for special cases.
- Activation needs internet. After that the game works for up to 30 days offline and renews the license by itself whenever you are online.
- The updates we publish for the game are included at no extra cost and arrive through the launcher.
5. What is not allowed
- Sharing, selling, renting or publishing your license or the game files.
- Bypassing, disabling or trying to break the game's protection or the license system.
- Distributing modified versions of the game.
- Using the game or the website for fraud, including purchases with someone else's payment method.
In those cases, or after an unjustified payment dispute, we may disable the license.
6. Purchase and payment
Payment is processed by Stripe. The price is charged in Brazilian reais; buyers in other countries may see it converted to their currency, with the conversion rate Stripe shows at checkout. The license is delivered on screen and by email as soon as the payment is confirmed.
7. Refunds
You may ask for a refund within 7 days of purchase, with no need to give a reason, by writing to contato@saintseiyadensetsu.com from the email used at purchase. After the refund the license is disabled. Requests after that period are handled case by case, for example when the game does not run on your computer and we cannot fix it.
8. Requirements and availability
The game runs on 64-bit Windows 10 or 11. We work to keep it running well but, as a fan project,
it is provided "as is": it may have bugs, and the content and schedule of upcoming sagas may
change. Saves stay on your computer; we recommend backing up
%APPDATA%\SSDensetsu\Saves.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages from using the game, such as loss of data or time. Nothing in these Terms limits the rights consumer protection law gives you.
10. Changes to the project
If the project has to end or the license system is shut down, we will announce it on the website in advance and do our best so that buyers can keep playing the version they have.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the version in force, and important changes will be announced on the website. They apply to purchases and use from publication on.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Brazilian law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country.
